About the San Diego Jewish Food Festival

San Diego's original Jewish Food Festival – The place to be on Sunday, May 3rd, 2020.

The San Diego Jewish Food Festival features food from around the world based on time-honored family recipes. Numerous food booths provide traditional Jewish cooking from Israel, the Middle East, Spain, Eastern Europe, and American delicatessens and bakeries. Knishes, kugels and so much more. Again this year, live celebrity chef demos showing you how they prepare their favorites. Enjoy an exciting live music program and, of course, activities for kids of all ages.

Whether to enjoy traditional foods, watch celebrity chef demos, stroll through the vendor booths, sit back and enjoy live music, or simply savor the aromas, sights, and sounds – The San Diego Jewish Food Festival has something for everyone!

Enjoy a fabulous day of dining, entertainment and shopping. Wander among the many booths. Enjoy mouth-watering delights from Jewish cultures around the world including Israeli and middle eastern cuisine, tantalizing corned beef sandwiches, a wide array of traditional holiday food such as latkes, blintzes, kugels and popular deli menu items including knishes, chopped liver, falafel, and, plenty of bakery delights like rugalach and strudel.

In addition to tasty treats, you will be entertained by some of the most talented singers and musicians in Southern Califonia performing a variety of traditional and contemporary Jewish music, ranging from top vocalists, Israeli dance groups to an exciting Klezmer band playing all your favorite jewish tunes.

Enjoy superb shopping for many items ranging from jewelry and judaica, crafts and linens to photography services and resources for Bar/Bat mitzvah and wedding party planning.

Getting around the Festival

  • Food Booths are inside the building in the large social hall.
  • Vendors Booths, the entertainment stage and eating area and beer garden are situated on the North Parking lot.
  • Children's activities are in the courtyard.
  • Celebrity Chef demonstrations are in room 1 off the courtyard.
